SpaceX, the aerospace technology firm, recently disclosed a reduction in the value of its Bitcoin holdings, amounting to $373 million. There are indications that the company may have also sold off its cryptocurrency assets.
The Wall Street Journal reported on August 17 that SpaceX originally recorded this sum of Bitcoin on its balance sheet for 2021 and 2022, but has since devalued it and potentially disposed of the digital currency. It remains uncertain if the entire stash of $373 million has been liquidated.
